This boquet was made using the same sugar cookie recipe that I always use. The only difference is I inserted a cookie stick into them before I baked the cookies. I tried experimenting with purchased cookie sticks and skewers. Skewers do NOT work. The cookie slides right off! I think they just aren't thick enough.

I have been doing cookie bouquets for awhile now and have learned to roll out your dough 1/2" thick (literally. I took a ruler and measured it and it's 1/2" thick) then bake. As soon as you take the cookie out of the oven then insert the stick. As the cookie cools it will continue to bake and will shrink and stick onto the lollipop/cookie stick. Hope that helps!!!
