Repurposed Thrift Store Plates and Candlesticks

I saw this super fun idea over at Creations From My Heart and HAD to try it. (Hurry run over there right now and check out her fabulous creation!)

I thrifted this stuff for $7.00.

Glued it all together with Epoxy (love that stuff!)

Spray painted it apple green. (I know the original creation is meant for food, this one is not, so by all means spray paint away!)

Antiqued it with brown paint. I brushed on the paint and wiped off the excess with a damp cloth.

LOVE THIS! I soooooo am going to make one. I rather like yours. Do you think E6000 would work? Or is that an epoxy? LOL!

how fun! It looks fab! great minds think alike. I've been wanting to do this, every since I've been watching dawn spray paint her vases and such. Just waiting on the weather and finding the time. :)

What!!! This is awesome! Thank you for mentioning the type of glue you used. I've seen quite a few tiered creations lately and none of the other ones I've seen have named the glue. I was guessing hot glue. Glad you cleared that up for me.
